The Canadian Government publishes a list of occupations for which they are inviting professionals from abroad to fill up the vacancies. Canada migration comes under the points system, with several criteria adding up to 67 points.

Requirements for PR
- IELTS test score of at least 7/8 in each module* (as per the immigration requirement)
- Should be less than 44 years of age

Procedure
Step 1 — Register yourself.
Step 2 — You will receive a username and password along with an online receipt towards the payment, and an agreement copy on the further process.
Step 3 — You will receive the document checklist for the visa application process.
Step 4 — Other assistance (pre-landing / post-landing): accommodation assistance, help opening a bank account, and job assistance with a mentor for resume preparation, interviews and recommendations.
Step 1 — Credential assessment including your education documents (7 to 30 days).
Step 2 — All required documents are sent to CIC (Canada Immigration and Citizenship).
Step 3 — Once approved by CIC, your application is handed over to the High Commission in India and processed for Federal Skilled Worker.
Processing time: 6–12 months (approx.)

- Application fees for Canadian Federal: 550 CAD (per adult)
- PR landing charge: 490 CAD (per adult; no fee for kids)
- WES assessment fee: 227 CAD
- IELTS exam fee: as per current IDP/British Council rates
- Medical & police certificate: approx. ₹10,000
- Proof of funds for 1 person: 12,669 CAD (varies with family size)
